Venus Williams Come to Win Book – Venus Williams can change her resume once again to add the title of “author” to her experience list. She is currently the WTA Tour’s fourth ranked player. Her newest book, “Come to Win,” went on sale on June 29th. That same day she lost in straight sets to Tsvetana Pironkova in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. It was her earliest exit in the tournament in her last four attempts.
Williams preaches throughout the book that you must fail before you succeed, so that you can learn from your mistakes. She has done a number of radio interviews to promote the release of her 354 page book. The book was also co-written by Kelly E Carter, and is published by the HarperCollins Company.

A number of high-profile politicians and celebrities contributed to the book including Bill Clinton, Denzel Washington and fashion designer Vera Wang.
“A lot of them credit sports with helping them get to where they are today,” Williams said.
Williams, who is currently 30 years old, is looking to get back on top of the tennis world. She has played well in recent months but has fallen into a bit of a slump since her Wimbledon loss. It will be interesting to see how she is able to bounce back.
Williams has earned a total of $27.3 million since she became a professional tennis player in 1995. She made an additional $2.2 million this year, securing two February singles titles. She also won the French Open doubles tournament in June. She competed with her sister, Serena Williams.
