Tyra Banks Real Hair:Tyra Banks Show – Tyra Banks was a guest on NBC’s The TODAY Show Tuesday to discuss the premiere of her talk The Tyra Show where she will be sans wig.She said:
“For the season 5 premiere, I will be doing just that – no fake Hair
, I’m rocking my REAL hair. This will all be going down on September 8, 2009, which we’re declaring National Real Hair Day! We welcome everyone to go natural with me!”“no ponytails, no ballet bun head. hair will be out and free!”
The Tyra Show season 5 will be airing on Sept. 8 on The CW.

Hi. I live near Vancouver,Canada. I’m 76 years young and wanted to comment on some dialogue that is just now on the TV – re: Color (white of black and/or mixed). I was raised in northern Canada and never saw a black person until I was sixteen an visitig LA. We had a racial problem – Indians. Now our country is trying to adjust to multiracial. My family of origin includes: English, German, French, with some native American (indian). What a privilege!
-I can see from the U.S. history and what’s hhappening in the congress right now (”you lie”} that the issues continue. There is hope yet. Best wishes for your program and efforts to enlighten the masses. steve
