Tameka Foster Blasts Black Women For Saying She Is Ugly
Usher recently blasted black media for not supporting his marriage with Tameka Foster.Now his wife Tameka is blaming black women,for all the drama.She told Essence:
“We (black women) don’t like ourselves. If I were Hispanic, Usher would have the sexiest wife alive. If I were mixed, he’d have the sexiest wife alive. “But he has a black girl, and it’s like, ‘She’s horrible and she’s ugly!’ “OK, maybe I don’t fit the cookie-cutter standard – 25 and a size two – but this is who he loves.”“There are women getting raped in Darfur, young girls being turned out every single day right here in Atlanta. We have bigger issues to worry about than two people in love with each other.”
Patti Labelle who is always in every sauce stood up to defend Foster,by saying:

Tamika Foster is to Usher what Jermaine DuPree is to Janet!! I do think it’s hatting because we think hey if she got him then we all had a chance!! But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, maybe she has a beautiful personality? But speaking for me she is not pretty, even =with make up (and yall know they air brush pictures in mags)! And I guess we all have to think about she is sitting beside a very beautiful man who has no facial flaws, I mean hell most women will look off if they’re not perfect. I think Usher & Janet should just “Trade Spouses”, then everyone can focus on something else!!

i think she makes a good point ,us blacks are so hard on each other because we let ourselves get brainwashed to believe if we look dark,or have mainly african features,that its not attractive and its the truth ,me personally i’ve had other blacks and hispanics and whites tell me i have keen features for a dark girl..lol thats so stupid i guess i look indian or something anyway my point is that black people need to stand back and look inside their minds and figure out why some of us think Alek Wex is ugly,Grace Jones, u get my point i can go on and on, its like if your a famous black male if your wife doesn’t look mixed or white or hispanic ,thats no cool,,its really sad that some of our men don’t think women who look similar to their moms aunts and sisters and grandmothers aren’t beautiful our people are so blind and hard on each other ..thank God i have an intelligent Italian man who doesn’t mind me going in the sun and getting darker…wake up black people ,we are beautiful

Trust me, she is not playing a race card. To each his/her own as far as how attractive she is, however, I think that she is very attractive. Yes, she is being honest when she blasts the jealousy and cut throat nature of other black women, they love to find fault with other black women. If both of them were to split up and begin relationships with white people. Everyone would commend him and continue to sabotage her.

This has nothing to do with her being black or white or even purple. There are many gorgeous black women, she’s just not one of them. Blaming black women for her own ugliness is absurd. But hey, after reading a story about how she laughed in a little girl’s face when Usher’s bodyguard refused to let Usher give the girl autograph, I guess she’s ugly on the inside too. =)

This is interesting. This black woman thinks if she were Hispanic or “mixed,” she would be considered the “sexiest wife alive.” First of all beauty is subjective. Not everyone is attracted to Hispanics or mixed people. I’m multi-ethnic (Austrian,Filipino,Irish, Black Foot *Native American) and I’ve (usually) only attracted black men. Most people have told me I look Hispanic and figured (based on experience) that is why black guys have asked me out compared to anyone with a similar background to my own (and I don’t mean guys with the EXACT background but with SOMETHING similar to me.) It’s just rare. Hmmmm… I guess I’m not the only who thinks blacks have an obsession with Hispanics or mixed people. I’ve also heard (from a black friend and the media) that they have a thing for Indians (Native Americans.) Be honest… is it because of the straight, dark hair and complexion?

Tameka is a beutiful girl in my opinion. It so happens to be that she acutally looks like a black woman which is definitely to be appreciated. It is useless to worry about what negative people say. Some have really poor images of themselves, lack confidence and pride and some simply perpetuate racist views based on their own agenda. I say, screw’em who cares? You do you!
