Soulja Boy and Chris Brown Dissing Each Other on Twitter – Reportedly, Soulja Boy and Chris Brown have been trading blows back and fourth on twitter. The two seemingly had no prior connection through Twitter or musically prior to the incident. Soulja Boy started the feud with Chris Brown when he stated that he “has more followers than the ex-boyfriend of Rihanna.” Chris Brown apparently did not take kindly to the remark, as he quickly replied by saying that he “makes more money in an hour at an after party than Soulja Boy does for shows.” The back and fourth blows continued for quite some time, as Soulja Boy remarked that he would be waiting to see whose albums sold more on their first week.


Chris Brown made headlines in the last few years for the domestic dispute with Rihanna. He has taken a lot of flack for the incident, and has often updated Twitter with trials and tribulations that he has faced since the bad press hit the internet. He has often accused large CD suppliers of “hiding his albums in the back” and often has hinted that he feels that he has been blackmailed from the industry for his poor indiscretion that day. It was not clear if Chris Brown and Soulja Boy have talked since the incident. Soulja Boy’s newest album, “the DeAndre Way” is scheduled for a release at the end of July.
Chris Brown’s last album was released to disappointing sales. This is what could have spurned the comment from Soulja Boy about seeing whose albums sold more in the first week, as the first week of Chris Brown’s album sales were reportedly much lower than the young R&B singer, once touted as the next king of pop had expected.
