Na’Tasha Salimi Smooth Magazine Pictures – Na’Tasha Salimi is featured in the latest issue of Smooth Magazine.Na’Tasha who was born in Germany with Egyptian and Persian background is seriously making a name for herself as one of the hottest urban model to look for,in 2009.
On her childhood she said:
“I lived there until about elementary school and moved to Virginia with my family at the age of 10,” “My family always taught me to set high goals for myself and how to achieve them.”
“I also attend John Jay College in Manhattan to get my degree in forensic psychology and then move on to Law school to become an entertainment lawyer,” she continues. “I’ve been modeling here and there since the age of 16, but I’m finally now giving it everything I have and taking advantage of the city that I am in.”
On her goals:
“Urban models have become very popular and are easier to relate to with the average woman,” Not all models weigh 100 pounds. Urban models represent curves and natural bodies that most women have. My message is that you don’t have to starve yourself to be beautiful, or to get more jobs in the modeling field. Hips are sexy!”
“I’m only 19 and out here in New York by myself. It gets hard sometimes because I do get homesick,” “But at the end of the day, this is what I want, so I’m going to stick through with it.”
“Educational wise, getting an A on my Psychology final. Modeling wise, I’ve been doing fashion shows here and there even though I never thought I could do runway simply because I have curves. It’s nice to see that the industry is finally appreciating curves.”
“Looks are just on the outside; your brain is what makes you,” “People stereotype and say pretty women are stupid anyway, so I believe that women need to step up and prove that wrong. Like ‘yes I am beautiful and smart! I can model and go to school! I have other goals other than just posing.’”
On how she pays her bills:
“I am a make-up artist as well so I love make up,” Na’Tasha says. “I wear MAC only. I love Apple Bottom; I like how the jeans fit. BCBG, xoxo, Miss Sixty–I could keep going all day. I love to shop.”
