Nas Fila Line

Nas Fila Shoe Line – Nas has signed a one-year contract with Fila to create an 80s-inspired clothing line and footwear with the company.Nas said in a statement :
“My best friend Will and I loved Fila. It represented prestige and everything that was cool to us. When Will passed, we buried him in a black Fila sweat suit, so doing a deal with them has a lot of significance for me,”
Fila executive added:
Fila will offer reciprocal financial support for Nas’ print and TV ad campaign as well as his upcoming tour in support of his untitled album, due July 15 via Def Jam. In return, the MC will wear Fila products and co-create an apparel line that draws from fashions of the late ’80s.
Will anyone really go buy something purely based on a celebrity endorsement of the brand?

Nas is definitely a good start. If fila comes with original, italian inspired designs like back in the day, they can come back. I plan to knock off a few pair myself. its something new and fresh as opposed to nike all the time. ima 80s baby so i enjoy 80s things
