Mary J. Blige Sued:Mary J. Blige Work That Copyright Infringement Lawsuit-Mary J. Blige has been hit with a $2 million lawsuit by a company that claims that she stole the song called “Work That.”The Drama Family Entertainment company filed the lawsuit in a federal court in Manhattan on Tuesday saying that they suffered copyright infringement because the singer’s “Growing Pains” album contains the track “Work That,” created by their producer .
The song was featured with a silhouetted Blige in an iPod commercial. Apple Inc. isn’t named in the lawsuit.Mary and drama are always in the same sentence.
