‘Rihanna was the best thing to happen to Beyonce’, meaning the success of Rihanna forced Beyonce to step her game up.

Another blogger said it best, if this was 50 Cent making the comments he would be blatantly disrespectful. But in this situation Kanye tried to clean up his comments by creating some controversy. This is so unfortunate since it was Bey who helped Kanye grieve the loss of his mother. I use to admire Kanye but I have actually lost all respect for him. He can count me out from buying his next album. Good Riddens!!

This isnt a diss … it’s actually the truth. With so many people comparing Beyonce to Rihanna and Rihanna to Beyonce, Bey finally squashed any rumors, comments, discussion that Rihanna was going to replace her or take her spot in the music game. Bey definitely stepped up her game and became a little more edgy and a little less cookie cutter .. her whole Sasha Fierce persona with the avant garde style is prime example.
