John Legend Defends Girlfriend Christine Teigen

John Legend wants the world to stop hating on his hot Thai-Norwegian model girlfriend, Christine Teigen.Legend told the New York Daily News:
“People are automatically condescending,” “They expect her to be dumb and say, ‘Oh you’re just dating a dumb girl because she’s hot.’ But people judge you either way. If you’re dating a girl who’s kind of regular, you hear, ‘Why are you dating her?’ I don’t get caught up in it. I’m more concerned with my happiness.”

I have known Christine since elementary school. She is very rude and she used to be the ugly duckling. Haha. She is still not that cute though.

I disagree with the previous statement. I have also known Chrissy in school (high school)and I always felt she was one of the nicest people I knew, not to mention the funniest. I am so happy to see her doing so well. She was always grateful and polite. This coming from a girl that wasn’t with the “in crowd,” she was very sweet. That is a lot more than I can say for most of the “in crowd” at Snohomish. But, it is high school that is what is to be expected. Great work making a life for yourself Chrissy! P.S. College is boring – but they say it is worth it…I am not sure – your life looks pretty enojoyable! Good luck!

I think the cattiness comes from there, the jealousy? you gotta give kudos where its owed and Chrissy deserves it. She’s gorgeous and from what I heard she’s kind too!

I don’t know either of them personally, but I bumped into them while shopping in SoHo. John Legend was unbelievably nice — I asked for a picture, and he even told me to take care when they got into their car. His girlfriend took a picture of us, and she didn’t seem standoffish at all.

John legend seems like that kind of guy you just want to go to starbucks with and hang out.(He is obviously the best looking man in the industry.),but he is the most talented in the industy also. I would love to see him in the city(Manhattan)and get to take a pic. with him and Chrissy. They should stay together as long as both of them are happy.

I was watching black In America 2 tonight.
John Legend turned around and smacked MLT’s Rice and the ENTIRE black race in the face when after becoming more successful he took his wealth to the white society instead of his own black society. With all his fame he is still insecure about himself and heritage and seek white to make him feel more acceptable. Guys like him make me sick!

He looks very gay. When a lot of these kind of black guys go for these kinds of girls it is usually out of perversion. Often these girls have no boundaries and/or morals when it comes to sex. They look normal in public but in private they are weird, drunks, potty mouths and you name it. A black man empowered him to go and acquire more only for him to take it and dump it into the white race. He makes me sick just like the rest.

Look John came from a small city called Springfield, Ohio and we went to a majority white school North High. John was the smartest boy in school and graduated at the age of 16. John’s friends and environment was of mixed races white and black. John did not change, and when he was in Springfield did not date to my knowledge because he was busy handeling his business. All of you fans or not are on here sounding ridiculous and have no real clue (the negative ones at leaset). John is good people and spiritual so you better becareful of how you ridicule him. Also he is NOT gay, he is who he is and does not need to explain this to anyone. As far as his girlfriend, she’s a beauty, and you GO Johnny!!!!!
