Gabourey Gabby Sidibe A Diva?

Gabourey Gabby Sidibe A Diva? – Last year, Gabourey Sidibe went from a Harlem college student to an Oscar nominated actress after she played the role of Precious . The movie followed Jones as she lived through a horribly abusive life with her mother, and the problems she experienced as a teen mother as well.
In a recent report that was published in The Washington Post, it appears that her new success may have gone to her head. The report was written by columnist Jonathan Capehart, who approached Sidibe last weekend at the White House Correspondents dinner in Washington. He states that Sidibe may not be as kind as once originally imagined.

“I was thrilled to spot her at a table laughing uproariously with the man sitting to her right. ‘I know you’re having a good time and I’m sorry to interrupt,’ I began. My next sentence didn’t come out because Sidibe shouted over the din, ‘Yeah, come back in five minutes!’,” Capehart wrote in his column. “Thinking she was joking, I laughed and pretended to walk away. When I noticed that the look in her eyes meant she was serious, I walked back to her and said, ‘I just wanted to congratulate you on your nomination. I thought your performance was spectacular. I even wrote a column about it.’ After wishing her good luck, I rejoined my friends.”
Several other columnists have also reported that Sidibe was less than hospitable during the dinner as well. One report stated that a fan was turned down for a picture with Sidibe while she was sitting in Washington’s Reagan National Airport waiting for a flight.

Gabby is just a flash in the pan, albeit a big one. The “real” stars are gracious, like Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep. When Gabby finds herself selling Geo. Forman grills on late nite cable because she can’t get work In Hollywood, maybe she’ll wish she’d practiced a little humility. Or maybe not. In any event, the public is fickle.

    Hey guys,

turns out Gabby was being sarcastic and “100% joking”. That’s just her humor.

    LOL.

EVERYONE IN THE WORLD KEEPS MAKING NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT HER WEIGHT SO NATURALLY SHE WILL BECOME A BIT HOSTILE. JUST LEAVE HER ALONE FOR A MINUTE. THERES A TON OF OTHER FEMALES WHO ARENT STARVING THEM SELVES

It appears as though Gabby Sidibe may very well be taking the whole ‘star’ thing to the head. I noticed recently on a tv segment that someone attempted to give her flowers and she rejected them with a negative comment to follow. Gabby will come and go, with that type of attitude. One movie does not make a superstar! Her reps or friends, or whomever is watching over her, need to be on top of her attitude.
