Drake and Nicki Minaj End Twitter Marriage – It appears that the critics were right; Drake and Nicki Minaj did not get married. Drake made a joke Tweet yesterday claiming that the couple had gotten married, but it now appears not to be true.Drake has admitted to having a crush on Nicki Minaj on several occasions, and even raps about it in his new single featuring Lil’ Wayne “Miss Me.”

He had asked his followers to start referring to Minaj as “Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham.”

Because of his previous admission that he was in love with Minaj, many fans believed his announcement to be true. Of course, there were a number of skeptics who doubted the story, but Drake did not admit to the announcement being a joke until sometime later.

Minaj fueled the rumors by saying that she and Drake had “tied the knot.” A rep for Minaj quickly took to the Internet to deny the rumors. The rep has said that the pair was just joking about being wed, and pointed toward several other instances where the couple had made similar jokes.

During a recent stop at Sucker Free Sunday’s on MTV2, Drake told the DJ there that he had been in love with Minaj for a long time. He did so in a joking manner, but the statement, coupled with his song lyrics had some guessing that he was being serious. It now appears that it has been a joke the entire time.
