DMX Ordered To Pay $1.5 Mil For Rape Comments

DMX has been ordered by Judge Thomas Smith to pay $1.5 million to Monique Wayne who is his baby mama for making a rape comment about her and because the rapper failed to show up in court to defend himself.Monique sued DMX for defamation of character because he told Sister2Sister magazine, in a past interview, that he was raped by her as he slept during a 2003 stay in a hotel room in Baltimore.He said:
“She raped me,”"DNA says it is [my child]. I don’t know. If I did [have sex with her], I would remember. It ain’t like she’s a pretty girl.”
In 2006 she claimed that the statements were lies and filed a lawsuit seeking $6 million in damages.
