Djimon Hounsou Kimora Lee Simmons African Wedding Ceremony – Kimora Lee Simmons and her boyfriend/father of her baby Djimon Hounsou got married in a ceremony in Benin, Africa last summer.The Daily News claimed:

“Both Kimora and Djimon wore traditional dashikis. She went whole hog with the African theme − there were African drums, a traditional ceremony with dancers . . . they even had a hut!”
Aoki and Ming, the Baby Phat designer’s daughters with Simmons, were on-hand for the ceremony.“Aoki slept through the entire ceremony, and Ming cried. They were pretty confused as to what was going on,”

But the union is not official in the U.S. because Kimora was still technically married to mogul Russell Simmons.
