Black Girls Rock 2010 BET Ceremony – Ruby Dee Honored – “Black Girls Rock” aired last night on BET and it was an impressive event to honor women who are doing amazing things in the world.

The celebration was put together to honor African-American entertainers, writers, politicians, athlete and activists. The 5th Annual “Black Girls Rock!” celebration which took place at New York City featured appearances and performances from some of the hottest females in the music industry such as Shontelle, Keri Hilson, Ledisi, Marsha Ambrosius, Monica, VV Brown, Kelly Price, Fantasia and Jill Scott.
