50 Cent Sues Taco Bell - 50 Cent sued Taco Bell for stealing his identity for an ad campaign.The advertisement features 50 being encouraged to change his name to 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent.According to the rapper’s lawyer Peter D. Raymond,the fast food chain is:
“diluting the value of his good name”.
Taco Bell, however, claim they sent a letter to the star offering a $10,000 charity donation in exchange for his permission.The advert is part of the company’s “Why pay more?” campaign to promote goods priced under $1.
